The front pod welcomes guests arriving by boat, with its dramatic orientation facing the lake. It houses the common areas — an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space — along with a serene primary suite. Expansive windows frame panoramic water views, while a wraparound porch extends the living space outdoors, featuring a sitting area, outdoor cooking station, and refreshing outdoor showers.

The back pod provides generous accommodations, designed to comfortably sleep up to 14 guests. Perfect for extended family and friends, it ensures privacy and comfort while maintaining a strong connection to the natural surroundings.

Material choices throughout the home were selected to stand up to the rugged elements of Ontario’s lake country. Exterior cladding of blackened Yakasugi (charred wood) beautifully blends the structure into the surrounding woods and rugged granite landscape, offering durability and minimal maintenance while evoking a timeless, organic character.
