I don’t know if it was the sand castle competition I won in the third grade, or the sticks and ropes structures I built with my friends when I was a kid but I have always had the urge to dream of and design beautiful and functional spaces. The idea of making even the most basic space functional and aesthetically pleasing has inspired me throughout my career.
Since 2005, Arik Green Design has offered a broad spectrum of residential and commercial architectural services, handling projects of any size, style, or complexity. As the design principal, I have more than two decades of architectural and interior design experience. I offer flexible, creative solutions for offices, retail, hospitality, and residential projects, handling both new construction and renovations, architecture and interiors throughout Michigan, Chicago, Toronto, and beyond.
From the planning and layout to the graphics on the wall, I take a holistic approach to architecture and design, coordinating all aspects of a project into a unified whole, integrating details in ways both dramatic and subtle.
I have always felt that it is impossible to separate the design of the structure from the design of the interior. For interior projects I offer expert imaginative advice on everything from furniture to fixtures, from cabinets to built-ins, from tile to textiles I do not just decorate a space—I transform it, creating a feeling, an atmosphere, a mood.
